And yet we’re still amazed at the number of times we’re asked to produce a ‘glossy brochure’.
Indeed, this printed-piece of marketing spin still appears to be the most valuable real estate in the property marketer’s portfolio; even as we move swiftly towards 2016.
But is this correct? Are these often-unnecessarily-shiny brochures really ‘all that’?!
Do they actually shift units? Or do they sit gathering dust in a store cupboard, deemed ‘too expensive’ to hand out to just anybody who shows an interest?
The reality of course is that yes, printed literature still has its place… we’re all for creating stunning literature to complement a truly memorable development – But let’s not forget that we’re all in the business of securing pre-sales, pre-lets and shifting units…
Whilst there is a place for a stunning brochure, there is most certainly a place for highly targeted online campaigns; and there is most definitely a place for breath-taking video content, and we should never underestimate the value of a memorable launch event and strategic PR activity…
So, yes you can have the brochure. But let’s have the bigger conversation about a wider strategy.
